4/18/00 SoftCam-Installer-some valid registration keys rejected. Problem fixed in 4-18-00 build. Softcam-added support for Netscape browser for Help HTML files.
6/12/98 SoftCam-Audio segments repeat in the capture stream when playing an AVI with embedded audio. This sounds like your voice is stuttering.
Status:There is a bug in the Microsoft AVI Stream Handler that appears when capturing and playing audio from a WAVE device and then opening an AVI file that contains an audio stream. We are working on a fix that will be available soon.
6/11/98 SoftCam-Smooth Filter distorts the desktop capture when attempting to zoom. SoftCam sometimes then crashes. Although not reported, problem may also be evident when using a YUV format camera. Problem is with SHAREWARE build only.
Resolution:Available June 11 - New Shareware dated June 11. To resolve, either download the new shareware build dated June 11, or enter the following single line in the [drivers32] section of your c:/windows/system.ini file. Substitute the path with the location SoftCam is installed on your own system.

5/30/98 SoftCam-Very large animated GIF files are slow to load.

5/25/98 SoftCam-Changing video format between YUV and RGB caused an intermittent GPF.

5/16/98 WaveMux-WaveMux tripped a kernal mode GPF intermittently.
Resolution-Available May 18 - Beta 2.
5/13/98 WaveMux-Playing a Shockwave game with audio sometimes locks up the system.
Resolution-Macromedia reports an incompatibility between DirectX, DirectSound, Shockwave, and the Intel RSX 3D sound utility (headphone icon in the systray). Uninstall Intel RSX.
5/10/98 WaveMux-AVI audio and video not always syncronized during playback. Audio is sometimes as much as 2 seconds delayed.
Resolution-Available May 18 - Beta 2.
5/8/98 WaveMux-Installation sometimes cannot prioritize Microsoft PCM converter. Install attempts to set the priority to 1 for optimal system performance.

5/8/98 SoftCam-Installation sometimes cannot set SoftCam as the first video capture device. This allows SoftCam to manage multiple devices.

5/6/98 WaveMux-After installing WaveMux as the preferred system device, Windows startup sound is choppy during bootup. The same problem is sometimes evident if a sound is played while a sleeping PC is waking up.
