Concept
SoftCam is a virtual video capture device and WaveMux is a virtual sound device. They use Luminositi's patent-pending MediaCortex™ technology to manage application instructions to physical video and sound devices.

How it Works Setup
After installing SoftCam Pro, follow these easy steps to complete your setup.

  1. Enter your favorite WAV files as Sound Effects.
  2. Combine WAV, BMP, GIF, and AVI files into Media Titles to share with your friends.
  3. Adjust the default video source of your video conferencing applications to point to "SoftCam Video Capture Device".
  4. Check the audio device settings in your video conferencing applications. Output (playback) should point to WaveMux Out. Input (recording)should point to WaveMux In.
