Media Titles are kept in a handy list that can be easily selected and played in your real-time conference. Each Title is composed of a visual (BMP, GIF, or AVI) element and a sound (AVI or WAV) element. You may define up to ten Titles in SoftCam's list.
![]() |
Legend Each Title has associated icons that describe the type of media it contains.
|
Play
Will immediately begin looping the selected Title into your video
conference. The CURRENTLY PLAYING area will indicate this Title's
name. You will see this Title in the self-view window of your
conferencing application.
Delete
Removes the Title from your listing. DELETE does NOT remove any
files from your hard drive.
Properties
Brings up the Properties panel (see below) where you can edit
the properties of the selected Title.
New Title
Allocates a new Title space and brings up the Properties panel
to define the visual and sound elements for the new Title.

You can also right-click on a Title to bring up a small menu with 3 selections: Properties, Play, Play Next. Play Next waits until the current playing Title has come to the end of its loop.
The PROPERTIES PANEL defines all of the media elements that combine to create a media title. In the view below, we've created a title that depicts Bill Clinton taking a vacation on the beach.

Title Label
Is the descriptive name identifying the Title.
Visual Element
Is the name of a BMP, GIF, or AVI. Browse to select a file for
this field. For our example, we used a picture of Bill Clinton
with the outside edges set to a transparent color. This will allow
Bill to float above our selected background.
Background
Is the name of a BMP, AVI, or GIF that will display beneath the
VISUAL ELEMENT. If USE DEFAULT is checked, the file defined in
the options panel, it will be used. STRETCH TO FIT will resize the background to
fit the current video format.
Sound Element
Is the name of a WAV that will accompany the visual element. Browse
to select a file for this field. If your visual element is an
AVI that has sound already in it, WaveMux will ignore your sound
element selection.
